Deep fake is the process by which a photo-video editing program equipped with learning or artificial intelligence capabilities can change the expression of a character’s face or can completely replace his face with the face of another character. The system uses reference images, being all the more real the higher the volume of information transmitted to it. Although deep fake technology is interesting for the development of the entertainment, film and games industry, it presents many risks, being already used hundreds of times in fraudulent activities and fake news. In this sense, there is interest to implement legislation that can limit the use of this technology.
